JUST FEELS RIGHT
This campaign was built around the idea that how a place makes you feel matters more than what you do. I worked closely with director Andrea Wing and the creative team at Origin Outside to lead cinematography across five character-driven vignettes, each representing a distinct theme such as adventurous, relaxed, connected, playful, and curious. We filmed across more than a dozen locations including beaches, pools, a pirate ship, wildlife preserves, bike trails, and restaurants.
The tone relied on visual contrast and understated humor, blending subtle performances with movement-based camerawork. I used whip pans, crash zooms, dolly shots, and handheld setups to create energy and enhance transitions while maintaining a consistent and cinematic look across the campaign.
We completed the entire production in four days with a lean but dialled crew who put in big days behind the camera. I led a small lighting and grip team as well as second camera and drone units to manage fast-paced setups across a variety of environments. I collaborated closely with the director and producer to adapt the camera approach on the fly, ensuring we delivered five fifteen-second broadcast spots on time and on brief.
