Before stepping behind the camera, I spent years on the front lines as a wildland firefighter and tree faller, working in some of the most extreme environments in Canada. I fought wildfires in intense summer heat and fell trees in remote northern Alberta.
Those experiences taught me how to operate in high-risk, high-demand environments and gave me an insider’s understanding of the crews, culture, and challenges behind industrial and remote work.
With over a decade of cinematography experience, I combine technical expertise with that boots-on-the-ground background to create authentic stories that capture grit and determination, showcase scale, highlight specialized expertise, and communicate the values driving the work.
